Here are the major milestones that marked the history and the development of Armenia Securities Exchange and Armenia’s exchange market (in reverse chronological order).

Over 40 billion AMD ( USD 83.9 million) was raised for the State Treasury of Armenia from the auction of government bonds on AMX - Armenia Securities Exchange last week, which has become the largest auction of G-secs in Armenia since 2017. See details here.

During the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) held on May 16, 2017 in Tehran, it was decided to move the Federation's headquarter from Istanbul to Yerevan, after 22 years of operation in Turkey, since the establishment of the Federation in 1995. Moving the Federation's headquarter to Armenia NASDAQ OMX Armenia started to support the administration of the Federation.

This system enables individuals to purchase government bonds on-line, directly from the Government. Individuals will be able to invest not only in treasury saving bonds and short terms bills, but also in medium and long term government bonds, via registering by ID card on www.gp.minfin.am free of charge. Interest from the investments will not be subject to income tax.
