The Supervisory Board of Armenia Securities Exchange is appointed by the general meeting of the company’s shareholders and comprises four members and the Chairman. The Supervisory Board approves general strategies and policies of the company, including the stock exchange rules, except the issues that, according to the legislation in force, fall under the exclusive authority of the general meeting of shareholders.

Martin Galstyan

Board Member

Martin Galstyan serves as the Governor of Central Bank of Armenia since June 13, 2020. Previously, he served as a board member at CBA, Head at Dilijan Training and Research Center and in various positions at CBA since 1998. Mr. Galstyan was a lecturer at Yerevan State University from 2005 to 2008 and since 2011 has been a lecturer at AUA.

Martin Galstyan was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economics. He studied in the faculty of “General Economics” at Yerevan State University from 1994 to 2002 and holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Management (2009-2010).

Nerses Yeritsyan

Mr. Yeritsyan has served as the Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Armenia since 2008. Previously, he has served as the Minister at RA ministry of Economics, a Minister at Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, Advisor to Chairman and Board member at Central Bank of Armenia and held other executive positions in financial institutions. Throughout his career he has governed international delegations such as delegation to IMF and World Bank, Armenia delegation to EC MONEYVAL and supervised national offices of international companies, such as World Bank, IMF, EBRD, etc.

Seyran Sargsyan

Board member

Mr. Sargsyan is CEO of Union of Banks of Armenia, appointed in March, 2011. Mr. Sargsyan started his career in 1996, holding various positions in companies of Armenian and USA financial sector.

Mr. Sargsyan graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Applied Mathematics, holds PhD degree from Armenian National Academy of Sciences and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Iowa State University, USA.

Mr. Sargsyan is CEO of Union of Banks of Armenia, appointed in March, 2011. Mr. Sargsyan started his career in 1996, holding various positions in companies of Armenian and USA financial sector.

Mr. Sargsyan graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Applied Mathematics, holds PhD degree from Armenian National Academy of Sciences and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Iowa State University, USA.

Gagik Arzumanyan

Mr. Arzumanyan is the Head of Government Relations and Special Projects at Revery Group (formerly Highbury Holdings), as well as Strategy Director at Ucom. He has experience at top-level positions in public and private sectors, including Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy and Vice President of Vallex Group (CEO of its subsidiary, “Armenian Copper Programme” CJSC).

Mr. Arzumanyan holds bachelor's degree from Armenian State University of Economics, Master’s degree from London Business School, London and Columbia Business School, New York, and PhD in Economics from Post Graduate Institute of Economic Research, Yerevan.

Mr. Nakhshikyan is the Counsel to the Management Committee at Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. He has over 14 years of experience in Finance sector, including executive positions at Central Bank of Armenia. 

Mr. Nakhshikyan studied marketing at Armenian State University of Economics. He has passed several trainings on monetary policy, investment and liquidity in Zurich, Capetown and Doha.

Mr. Nakhshikyan is the Counsel to the Management Committee at Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. He has over 14 years of experience in Finance sector, including executive positions at Central Bank of Armenia.
